River Wylde

River Wylde has 13 years of teaching experience in Special Education and Art, with endorsements in both fields. Long before she entered the classroom, River grew up as a professional musician, beginning her musical journey at the age of four. She spent her childhood touring across the United States and Canada, drumming, singing, and learning through real-world experiences, collaboration, and the rhythm of life on the road. These early adventures shaped her belief that creativity is one of the most powerful teachers we have.

At Griffin Bay School, River is grateful for the opportunity to blend her artistic background with her passion for education. While she supports students in Reading, Writing, Math, and other core subjects, she is always finding ways to infuse  creativity, and imagination into the learning process. River is excited to be part of the Griffin Bay community and looks forward to inspiring students to explore, create, and discover their own strengths.
